 Started in 1995 by a small group of budding paddlers in the Mallaig area, the club currently has around 50 members. Although still centred around the west coast fishing village of Mallaig, we have members in Fort William , Inverness and other far-flung corners of Scotland.  Just about anyone can paddle a kayak or canoe, so if you would like to have a go, contact our membership secretary Joan. You don't need to be young and/or super-fit -  our members includes all ages!  The club is affiliated to the Scottish Canoe Association, which confers the following benefits on Club Members:

 Touring Sea touring trips are year-round and a programme is issued for the spring to autumn period. Overnight stays are normally camping but may be hostel accommodation.
 Equipment The club has a range of sea and white water kayaks, 2 Canadian Canoe and associated equipment for the use of members. A full list of club equipment can be found here.  N.B. membership applications from persons wishing only to hire equipment at preferential rates and not be active club members will not be accepted.
